Mines Rescue

If you have the opportunity to participate in mines rescue then I believe you should make every effort to do so. The team will be made up of a blend of professional and miners and will normally have a training day once a swing. You will get a good insight into the mine from the instructor and the miners. Make sure you use it to improve your knowledge about the mine.

The things they teach you to do are:

Fire fighting

Rope Rescue

Advanced First Aid

Vehicle Rescue including cutting and lifting

B.A & BG4 set operation

Snake handling
