Things to remember when using a cap lamp
Look after it. On most sites you will be issued a cap lamp of your own. It is your most important piece of safety equipment.
If something is broken or not operating, tag it, report it and get it fixed.
Avoid shining your light into someone’s eyes as this is considered rude.
If, for any reason your light goes out what should you do ?
Sit down and stay where you are until someone finds you.
How long will this take ?
It could take hours, but the important thing is you are safe. Sit down chill out and plan your next holiday.
