Building the road

Once you have finished raking the walls and face, try to pick up as much of the big stuff as you can then with the last couple halve buckets tip then onto the road. Starting at about 6 cuts back from the face work your way forward, stopping around 3 cuts back from the face. At least, the last 2 cuts need to be down to bed rock.

Back blading

Once you finish filling the holes with the waste then back blade over then a couple of times, removing any large rocks if required by “hand” roll the dirt in with the tires then back blade the area again, remembering that the jumbo needs to drive over it.
